Mohan Abeyasinghe is the co-founder of the Stallions Cricket Club along with childhood best buddy Devinda. Mohan’s involvement with the Stallion at the ‘tender’ age of 54 is purely due to the love of the game and his will to be young at heart. This he proves with the effort he puts in the field to the amazement of some of the young folk in the team!!
Mohan AKA Eddie is one of the leading wicket takers for the Stallions. He bowls nippy off break deliveries, usually the first change bowler taking on some of the hardest hitting batsmen in this format of the game.
Mohan never played cricket nor did he play another sport while being at S.Thomas’ College, Mt. Lavinia. The only thing he did play and played well at that was ‘the fool’!!
